Why Is Mitochondrial health important?
It’s important because it is the powerhouse of our cells. Every cell in our body requires energy so we want our mitochondrial health to functioning optimally. Chronic Fatigue, exercise intolerance (hard time recovering), low muscle tone, mental fatigue, cognitive decline (not feeling crisp) can all be linked to Mitochondria weakness.
Mitochondria is responsible for 90% of the energy needed to support life and organ function. It is also responsible for hormone function and thyroid function. If it is overstressed and overworked the body can’t detox properly so….if you want to be a powerhouse, you need to ramp up your mitochondria!
